For Mother's day this year we went all out. We spent $8 on three drops of gas (and felt luxurious) then we took the kids to the Family Fishing Pond and caught some fish. We caught 4 fish in less than an hour and then had to run home because dead fish don't keep well at the park.

It was lovely because nothing reminds me of the miracle of becoming a mother quite as much as gutting and frying up some little fishies!
