To Elaborate

I swore when we decided to get divorced that we weren't going to have our business dragged out by attorneys. And we haven't, and we won't. But we also swore it was going to be a quick 90 day divorce. None of these long drawn out year or longer deals for us. No way. Well it's going to be a year. At least. Haha. Not because we've spent the last 10 months hashing out details. Not nearly. More like we agreed to divorce and then set the legal side of it on the back burner and ignored it. We would probably continue to ignore it indefinitely if it weren't for Amy. Good thing she's around! :)

With her wedding date fast approaching (next August) she will absolutely not rest until everything is tidy and legal. Not that I blame her. Not in the least. I just wish she had been around before. Lets face it Shawn and I are (and always have been) notoriously bad at getting ANYTHING done in a timely manner on our own! LOL

I mentioned briefly that I have new a roomate, Travis. He's 19. As deliciously scandalous as that could be. It's not. LOL No he's more like the little brother I never had. I did always want a little brother. I really do think that there are two kinds of family. The ones you are born into and the ones you find on your own. I found him. He's mine. LOL

My latest harebrained idea is to move to Mexico. I got to thinking that if I moved to Mexico I might be able to live on just my child support money (with the lower cost of living and all). And after some brief research I found that you can in fact live in some parts of Mexico for $500 a month. This would have the added benefit of helping me learn Spanish. And the kids too. I've always loved Spanish and lately I've really really wanted to learn more. But I don't just want to learn more. I want to be fluent. I want to be helpful! So my goal is to move to Mexico for a year, or better two to be home with my kids and to become fluent in Spanish.

Kathrynn told me the other day that there's absolutely no way she's going to third grade. I really want to help her make that true. Somehow I have to get to a point in my life that that can happen.

Though no one apparently was able to read the depression in my last post. LOL I was very depressed, feeling very stuck and actually crying! This one is a huge contrast I suppose because I feel less trapped and more like things might happen. So good. :)

Now I'm going to the mall to buy a new lip ring. Did I ever post that I pierced my lip? I did. Someday I will have to show you all. :D

Go for it!

Um, who is Amy getting married to???

It sucks that you've been having a hard time. I fanasize about finding a better/cheaper place to live, too. The money thing never stops being an issue, does it?

Well Amy's not marrying me! LOL Which just leaves Shawn... :) Did I fail to mention their engagement? It's been a while. They are getting married next August. I wish them all the best. :D
