The latest news in my life now is the gaping hole where my internet service used to be. For some reason just because we haven't paid the phone bill in like 5 months they think they can just go and turn it off! Bastards!!

We're debating now if we want to turn it back on. Not that we are at all willing to go internet-less (perish the thought) we're just weighing the pros and cons of DSL or Cable Modem. But you know what's going to happen right. If we get cable modem they (they being men) will think we don't need to get our phone turned back on. Sorry! I'm just not ready for that giant leap into the digital age!

So I'm writing this at the library. God bless the public library! And damn them who conspired to reduce their hours! Damn them all to hell!

AND! as luck would have it Dawn just got her internet back on as well. LOL Murphy's law there or something.

Only two more days, though, of full time employment. WAHOOO!!! Life is looking up.

Last night we added a new member to our family. Meet Pikachu.

I don't know if Dawn is my best friend anymore. No. Not because she moved away leaving me stranded in this hell hole but because as she was leaving she left my daughter with a tube of the REDDEST most GARISH lipstick on the planet!

I don't have a problem with lipstick, generally. But this stuff is the kind that's semi-liquid and therefore very wet. Very messy. VERY RED! And irresistible to a six year old!

So Katharine has been wandering around like a clown-hooker for the last 4 days!

If you see Dawn in passing please kick her ass and tell her I miss her!

I did it! I put in my two weeks notice at work! HOOOORAAAAYY!! Well sort of. She was so torn up about it that she talked me into staying on part time on weekends and on call. What can I say? I'm a sucker when I feel needed!

But in two short weeks I will have my week days free! Just in time for good weather it appears. I'm happy.
